Maintenance issues

Maintenance issues resolved since last Board meeting: - Water turned ON to all marina slips. Antifreeze was run through the lines on all docks in the winter and we had NO leaks this year. - 23 power-tower lights replaced so far.

Maintenance issues still outstanding: - Relocation of some dock box deck boards in late April.

Marina Billing Issues

None

Guest Slips

- June 25-July 5 – “D” Dock T-Head slip

New Marina Guest Slip Policy

Each unit owner or resident is permitted a maximum of 2 free guest slip nights per 30-day period. All other guest slip nights are billed at $20 each night per slip. From the week before the first boat show through the week after the last boat show, all guest slips are billed at $50/night after the 2 free slip night maximum is reached for the 30-day period. Guest boats that intend to be exhibited in any boat show will not be permitted to occupy a guest slip at any time.

Passed unanimously by the Shearwater Board of Directors,

If you have not seen it, the new kayak launch should make entry a good deal easier (particularly for the sit-inside kayaks). A far cry from how it looked after Isabel (see photo below).
