Marina Overview

Shearwater Marina is a private marina operated exclusively for the use and enjoyment of owners and residents of Shearwater Condominiums. Contact the Dockmaster dockmaster@shearwatercondos.com for more information.

Description - The marina includes 34 slips owned by the association, as well as 28 slips that are owned by individual unit owners. Other facilities owned by the association include 13 spaces for dinghies and 37 spaces for kayaks. Association owned facilities are classified as GCE (General Common Elements) while facilities owned by individual unit owners are classified as LCE (Limited Common Elements). Electricity and water are available to all users of the marina facilities at a nominal charge.

GCE Marina Facilities - GCE facilities are rented on an annual basis only and only to owners of condominium units. Tenants can rent facilities through their landlords. Current annual rental rates are:

GCE slips - $55 per foot of overall boat length

Dinghies - $175 per year

Kayaks - $80 per year

LCE Slips for Rent - LCE slip owners may also rent their slips, but again only to other unit owners or tenants. Contact the Dockmaster for information about what slips are available.

Visiting Guest Dockage - The dockmaster can arrange for temporary dockage of transient vessels as long as they are guests of Shearwater residents. LCE slip owners may make their slips available to guests. Current daily guest dockage rate is $35 per day; guests staying 30 days or longer will be charged a rate of $20 per day, or $600 per month.
